Motifs Used

The hand-embroidered motifs in wool and cotton thread represent Berber motifs and meanings which were used as tattoos by Berber women and which served as an identity card for these women (since before there was not a paper to know the person).

Mos Espa Rug

This rug is called "Mos Espa".
It is inspired by the troglodyte habitats in Ksar Medenine and Ksar Ouled Soltan (the houses of the Berbers), the filming locations of "star wars" in tunisia.
